However, caring for parks is not just about what we gain from them; it is also an act of renewed respect for the natural world to which we belong, as we are an inseparable part of it.

It was therefore a genuine pleasure to take part, at the invitation of the Trnjanska Savica Local Board – City of Zagreb, in the creation of a comprehensive and professionally developed study on the current condition of Marija Ružička Strozzi Park.

While my contribution was modest within the broader team, I dedicated myself with great care and enthusiasm to exploring the potential of sustainable urban drainage and conceptually designing a rain garden as a proposal to improve microclimate, biodiversity, and stormwater management within the park.

The study presents valuable insights, practical proposals, and visual materials, all aimed at preserving and enhancing this green space as an important part of the local community.
